The system won't allow me to post an attachment. Is that still allowed? It says that no more attachments are allowed today.

Definitely not working on my end

There could be any number of reasons for this. I may have attachments restricted to just Black members, it may be restricted based on the forum, there may be attachment size and type restrictions. I need to know way more before looking into.

The max allowable attachment number for Gold members as a collective is 15 attachments. About 5mb is the size limit for each.

Did you try attaching before and if so when was the last time it worked, what forum/post etc.

I should have retired from this years ago.

Ha! I'd love to take credit but I didn't do anything. I think it just hit the daily attach limit for the user group.

The exact syntax of the error message was "No more attachments are allowed today".

The My Media and Attach Files and drag and drop instructions also disappeared.

The error message would appear at the bottom of the textbox that you type in to post a comment on this board.

Everything is fine now.

Okay I think the daily attachment limit was reached and reset the next day. I have it set fairly low to encourage link embedding and to keep the database from ballooning out with hundreds or thousands of attachments I gotta back up.

I should have retired from this years ago.

Ok, thanks for figuring that out, I will just post links from now on instead of attachments.
