Good luck
Good luck Isaac. You always played hard.
Thought he would ride it out. Was it UD, AG, $$, family?????
Probably goes to KY. Just kidding. He is pretty much a MAC starter.
Maybe he'll go back to Buffalo.
Good luck to him. He’ll probably end up on a west coast team since he grew up near Vancouver
committed to Pacific
In the ocean??
Pacific is in Stockton, CA, which is pretty much at the SE corner of a triangle that includes Sacramento to the north and the Bay Area to the west. Not quite “The Pacific Northwest”, but still a lot closer to the Vancouver area than Dayton or Buffalo. I hated losing the kid, but I liked it that my parents could come to my band performances while I was at UD, so I can understand him wanting to get closer to home.
2 other details. First, it looks like Isaac will be competing for playing time with Jazz Gardner, a former Flyer recruiting target who just finished his first season at Pacific after being on the Nevada squad that lost to our Flyers in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Second, Pacific had a 9-24 record last season, so they need all the help they can get. Hopefully, Isaac can make a positive impact this coming season.
Opinions on college recruiting and professional drafts are largely just fan speculation based upon (expert?) speculation based on coaching staff/front office speculation. What could possibly go wrong?
We tend to forget the ones we thought "got away". Having them show up in the portal annually may serve as a reminder that we may have been lucky they did.
That being said, I demand that within the next 10 days we have signed at least 2 players the board consensus deems likely starters... and that the Eagles have drafted a DL, Guard and TE in the first 3 rounds.
