Of the $2.3 trillion for so called "Infastucture" only $620 billion falls into Transportation. Of the Transportation amount only $115 billion is for actual roads and bridges. That is 5% of the total spending.

Another big lie by Joe!!

Infrastructure is just roads and bridges then?
I guess pipelines, schools, airports, and the internet are not infrastructure?
I had assumed that infrastructure encompasses all the structures and facilities needed for the proper functioning and operation of society. Am I mistaken?

"Infrastructure is the general term for the basic physical systems of a business, region, or nation. Examples of infrastructure include transportation systems, communication networks, sewage, water, and electric systems."

Pipelines? Like the Keystone? None in there. Maybe you mean water pipes $45 billion for removing lead pipes

Schools - I see nothing for schools, or school buildings

Airports - $25 billion

Internet - $100 billion

Powergrid - $100 billion

Public transit - $85 billion

Coastal Ports - $17 billion

Add all your stuff $327 billion more, so that adds to $442 billion, or 19% of the total. Nit pick it all you want... Joe lied!

$621B in Transportation infrastructure
$650B in "Quality of life" infrastructure spending including clean drinking water pipe repairs, modernizing public schools, broadband access improvements, public housing, Veterans Affairs hospitals and clinics, and community college infrastructure among other things.
$400B in spending for elder and disabled care
$300B in manufacturing and R&D support.

This stuff is not hard to lookup guys.

Crazy what you can complain about when the details are actually on the table not just hidden in some codeword server and fronted by ridiculous lies, PR constructs and unhinged Tweets.

I mean, didn't Trump have 3+ years of Infrastructure week and nowhere near this much public detail?

Economists say the plan amounts to a massive federal power grab - potentially the largest in decades - while criticizing the Biden administration's broad definition of infrastructure. Looks ambitious but likely will fail economist says

Daniel Lacalle, Ph.D., is chief economist at hedge fund Tressis and author of "Freedom or Equality," "Escape from the Central Bank Trap," and Life in the Financial Markets." - economist - the Biden administration states that the plan is revenue neutral, but it's not. First, it includes wildly optimistic estimates of new revenues. Second, those revenues are to be generated over 15 years, while the spending is planned for the next eight years, in net present value, there's no neutrality. Third, even if we believed the optimistic revenues, it doesn't even start to address the large deficits built up by past administrations due to rising mandatory spending. If deficits don't matter, why the need for a large increase in taxes? The risks? We have already seen the results of similar programs in the EU and Japan.

Not true. The democrats joined republicans on a number of important bipartisan legislations under Trump.

Your militant ‘RESIST’ impression is distorted, when facts are taken into account.

You are living in la la land. I saw what the Democrats did to Trump, and it was not nice. It was RESIST, criticize, impeach, and give him no wins.

When the Biden admin tried to put a restriction on states using federal COVID funds to offset tax cuts there was a nationwide shortage of fainting couches in Conservative areas.

No matter what they do, fault will be found.

Besides, the government would have paid for it anyways most likely, it's just fun to complain about where the approval was: https://www.pbgc.gov/

Fair enough, I will give you the CARES Act, spend more money and give out stimulus checks, more government debt...all politicians like to spend more and hand out free $...I do not even know what those other laws listed are.

Edit: First Step Act is criminal justice reform, I will give you that one.

That restriction on Covid funds to offset tax cuts has nothing to do with the pensions. You just conveniently are changing topics.

And no, the only government that should pay for the state pensions are the states. They created the problem, now fix it. Why should someone in Arkansas, who balances their budget and fully funds their pensions, pay for the dumb asses in California and Illinois who overspend.

It has to do with what the money is used for. If there is a question about an aspect of the American Recovery Act (that people are equating to COVID relief) that is very plainly documented, why wouldn't you be mad about a state using funds actually allocated to COVID relief to offset tax cuts that could go to anything?

And no, the only government that should pay for the state pensions are the states. They created the problem, now fix it. Why should someone in Arkansas, who balances their budget and fully funds their pensions, pay for the dumb asses in California and Illinois who overspend.
Should, maybe, but that's not how it works now.

Then approve the funds with a public pension reform/bailout bill...don't dupe the American public with pork barrel spending.

So it has not happened, but you speculate that if it did, people will flip out over it? That is the definition of Fake News.

You need a new dictionary, a tax cut hasn't happened yet to challenge it, but people did flip out over the provision claiming federal overreach.

Biden to Talk to Empty Room

Rep. Mace hits Biden for giving first joint address to an 'empty room'.

President Biden has accepted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's invitation to deliver his first joint session of Congress address on Wednesday, April 28.

The only issue with that date, Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., says, is that no one will be there. "President Biden, for his State of the Union, will be addressing an empty room with only special, hand picked members of Congress," Mace continued.

The South Carolina lawmaker ripped Biden on Twitter for deciding to address Congress when most lawmakers will be out of town and working in their home districts.

Liz Peek: Biden's weak poll numbers – here's why many Americans unhappy with president, radical policies
Deeper dive into the numbers suggests support for the president is lukewarm

Gallup’s most recent "Satisfaction with the United States" survey shows that 32% of the nation is "satisfied" with the way things are going, while 67% is dissatisfied. At this date in Trump’s presidency, the reading was almost exactly the same: 32% satisfied, 66% dissatisfied. And by the way, that figure reached 45% in February of last year, under Trump, a score not once recorded during President Obama’s eight years in office.

Biden's approval rating is higher than Trump's at any time in his presidency. Of course satisfaction is going to be down, we just had to deal with a year of Trump's pitiful Coronavirus response and a Trump inspired insurrection between last Feb and now.

The Biden Fiasco

As a candidate, Joe Biden promised there would be no blue states or red states, only the United States. In his inauguration speech he promised to be a unifier, yet after nearly sixty days in office it seems that such calls for unity remain elusive.

Syndicated conservative talk show host Joe Pags Pagliarulo (@JoeTalkShow) called out the president as well as the mainstream media. He wrote, "#SinceBidenBecamePresident - we've had one scripted speech and one scripted press conference. We have 6000 crossing the border illegally every day, the complicit media has been told it can no longer cover the White House and the world no longer has any respect for the US."

"#SinceBidenBecamePresident World leaders have been laughing at us and our country is going to s**t," suggested @McKaylaRose.

"So #SinceBidenBecamePresident he has lied about: Stopping deportations Putting kids in cages Holding MBS accountable Supporting genocide in Yemen Getting back into the JCPOA Fighting for $15 min wage Ending Forever Wars Bombing Syria $2,000 checks day 1 Listening to science," wrote @leftflankvets, which claims to be a leftist/anti-war group made of post 9/11 veterans.

It wouldn't have anything to do with Biden inspired insurrections occurring nightly in multiple cities all across America.

Biden's Foreign Policy Fiasco

China sending 25 war planes over Taiwan, Russia building up military on the Ukraine border, Iran snubbing its nose at Biden. Foreign policy fiasco.

That’s what four years of Trump fawning over dictators and despots gets you. Give Biden a little time, he will right the ship and restore our position in the world.

No, that's what you get when they feel Biden is a pansy. He already gave up Crimea to Russia. And China owns him. And Iran thinks they can get whatever they want from him like they did under Obama/Biden.

China was never as aggressive under Trump as they are now. Neither was Russia nor Iran. No comparison.

Everyone knew that Trump was no fool when it came to foreign policy. He established that in his first year, and eventually the rogue Socialist/Communist/Dictatorial Regimes stopped testing him. Biden is getting tested, and I am not expecting him to impress any of our enemies. He has that "America Last" type of philosophy that meshes with the far left. That is a formula for getting abused on the international stage.

Trump was in a position to punish the Russians for stealing Crimea. What exactly did he do?

Trump’s relationship with the corrupt dictator is deeply rooted. He shamed our country with all his subservient interactions with the strong man.

What could Trump do to get back the Crimea. Biden and Obama had already given it away. Did Biden and Obama punish Russia. No.

Trump did not shame the country by his relations with Putin. In fact, he kept us out of war with Russia. He was not subservient. Putin respected Trump and knew not to mess with him. Biden cowers to Putin like he is doing with Ukraine.

If Reagan taught us anything in dealing with the Soviet Union, is that you keep your friends close, your enemies closer. President Trump understood that, which is why he was successful with his foreign policy. Biden exemplifies weakness, and our enemies know he's weak. Going to be a disastrous four years.

The left seems to forget the whole "Peace Through Superior Firepower" thingy...

In this case, the enemies knew that Trump wasn't going to back down and knew they would have a severe fight on their hands if they themselves didn't back off on their foreign affairs.

Biden doesn't have a spine and foreign governments don't fear the abilities of the US government because they know Biden will sit on his hands...or do what Obama did and try the hugs and kisses approach of funneling foreign nations money to try and buy their cooperation when it was just them duping the US for funds.

That fool did not show power or strength. He split our western alliance by Nickel-and-Diming our friends and allies. Divide and conquer is an actual strategy for dealing with one’s adversaries. Trump divided and his dictator friends conquered.

I think the Catholic Bishops will come out with a statement this June on Catholic politicians who support abortion that they should not be going to communion.

But You Know What?

Nobody gives a crap. Who reads the news or watches the news? Nobody. We are all on with our lives. Fighting the pandemic and staying out of the line of fire. Politics as we all knew it in the USA is over. The Demons are in control and will be for some time. Lets all gamble on sports take vacations and wait for the next government check to arrive in the mail.

Shame that with the media, hollywood and academics all in the bag for Joe, it won't matter much what critics say.

The economy is slowing opening back up, more and more people are out and about, that will all help Biden.

If the GOP takes the House or Senate, imo that will keep the far left in check and also help Biden. The GOP only needs to pick up half a dozen or so House seats to take over, that is very doable, although a strong covid recovery, which could happen, could benefit the Dems and mute any GOP gains.

I think we are in for a long, sustained economic recovery, Biden may just get reelected by default due to the power of incumbency and a strong economy.

Biden, second Catholic president, to skip Notre Dame commencement after backlash to his abortion policies
The White House said Biden could not attend due to a scheduling conflict.

Breaking with recent tradition, the president will not address the ceremony after 4,300 "members of the Notre Dame community" signed a petition urging Notre Dame President Fr. John Jenkins not to invite Biden, the second Roman Catholic president, over his stance on abortion.

For the last three presidencies, either the president or vice president has attended the Notre Dame commencement their first year in office. President George W. Bush gave the commencement address in 2001, President Barack Obama gave the address in 2009 and Vice President Mike Pence spoke at the ceremony in 2017. Obama’s attendance drew backlash for similar reasons.

Covid, and also Trump to a degree, have left a deep, traumatic scar on the country. People just want some peace and prosperity right now. As long as Biden doesn't screw up this economic recovery somehow, or there is not some black swan-type event internationally that creates chaos, then it is starting to feel like Biden will get reelected even this far from November 2024.

Biden and Hunter in Bed With China

Sounding a long-held warning on China's economic prowess, former President Donald Trump lamented on Newsmax how it has afforded to "take care of everybody," namely Joe and Hunter Biden – all with money taken out of the U.S. to boot.

4 years of attacks on the media by an American President, including a pathetic response to the murder of one, has nothing to do with the the current treatment of journalists. Nope, nothing to see here ..

Would be great if people stopped watching all three networks completely, and we just might have a chance to go back to unbiased news reporting.

What is going up is the interest rate on the debt. We are at risk of defaulting on the debt.

Biden about to drop a 6T dollar budget. Prepare for taxes. Debt becomes more than 100% of GDP.

6 trillion? I really believe that the Democrats are aiming to "redistribute" by collapsing the dollar.

Agree, the government has been able to borrow at near zero rates, as this changes debt will get more expensive and the national dept will take a hit.

Time to start taxing corporations a little more.
Billionaires like Trump paying 750 bucks in taxes while the government takes nearly half my income is absolutely ridiculous.

Closing loopholes would help. High profile cases get the press, and loophole closing would help. Raising the tax rates should be done carefully.

As should lowering them when the economy is booming while we still had debt to pay off ...

Closing loopholes would help. High profile cases get the press, and loophole closing would help. Raising the tax rates should be done carefully.
The problem is that all of the Washington political elites are benefitting from these loopholes. Libs want want you to believe that only Trump and republicans use loopholes to their advantage, but the Bidens and the Pelosis on the Dem side are as well.

Glad you used the word "continuing" and that you appreciate the need to slow down and exhale after all the deficit spending and corporate tax cuts from the Trump administration.

President Joe Biden is charging ahead with plans for a $3 trillion federal spending spree just after pumping nearly $2 trillion into an already growing economy. And now a 6T Biden budget.

Would you leave your daughter alone in a room with this sick creep? Once again, if this was said by Trump or any Republican, it would be 24/7 news cycle.

I don’t remember Trump ever wading into pedophilia. Also, you excuse this sick crap because Trump might have said questionable stuff? I have plenty of room to talk.

Of course Trump wouldn’t wade into pedophilia. His preference seems to be prostitutes. Hanging out with Jeffery Epstein was just fun and games. Nothing to see there.

I see you have a future as a White House Press Secretary after Jen Psaki circles back for the last time.

I would tell you to admit nothing, deny everything, and always make counter-accusations, but I think you've got that schtick down.

Yes, I am dismissing this, it won't stick, not after 5 years of Trump, the GOP ceded the moral ground when Trump became the nominee in 2016, it will take more time without Trump to start to take some of that ground back.

And I was fine with that tradeoff, and I would maybe still make that tradeoff, Trump was very productive, and he called things out, and he was usually right. Too bad he couldn't shut up more.

Leo Terrell: 'Somebody needs to tell Joe Biden he's a racist'
'Joe Biden, look at me. I’m Black. I’m a lawyer,' Terrell said.

Civil rights attorney Leo Terrell said Wednesday that President Joe Biden offended African Americans when he told a crowd observing the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa massacre that Black businessmen and women don’t have lawyers to represent them or their businesses.

"Joe Biden, look at me! I’m Black. I’m a lawyer," an outraged Terrell said.

We've had some bad Vice Presidents in our history. But Kamala is terrifying. With the frailty of Biden, it is double-terrifying.

Admittedly, this YouTube channel has a pretty singular focus, but it is factual and the context does not matter. They have over 800 videos that only date back to the inauguration, and new ones come out every - single - day. This particular video is from the G7 Summit.
As an American, how can anyone be proud of this or defend this? This is sad. Explain to me how this in any way projects strength, leadership, confidence or American exceptionalism.
