Orlando Match Ups
Will UD and Kansas purposely be on opposite sides of the bracket in hopes of packing the stands for a Maui rematch?

The seeding will be 1-8. Other than UD fans, no one cares about a game in Hawaii two years ago. I suspect UD be seeded somewhere between 3rd to 5th seed.

The Dayton Program
The Dayton program does not rock the national college men's basketball scene as much as some of the Flyer Faithful believe. The Obi led Flyers were a once in 70 years phenomena. Dayton remains an A-10 team fighting for a post-season A-10 Tourney bye.

I don't understand this poll question. Why would they purposely try to separate Dayton and Kansas?

To potentially get a Maui final rematch, which was clearly explained in the post (and discussed in the replies prior to yours).
As pointed out above these tournaments are loosely "seeded." There's almost no chance Dayton and Kansas are paired in the first round, which leaves three possible outcomes: a pairing on Kansas' side or either of the two pairings on the opposite side. This means a 66.6% chance the Flyers are on the opposite side of the bracket. So I voted yes, though I got to my conclusion using different reasoning.

they set the seedings, is that right?
if so, they can make any matchup
they desire, its their tournament?
so, if they wanted a potential
dayton vs Kansas matchup, why
can't they (if it is their decision to
make)
if not a final, a quarterfinal will
be possible also

I wasn't sure if it was do I think they'll be on opposite sides of the bracket, or only if it is on purpose.

seems to me

No, I think they will try to get a rematch of the 1968 NIT championship.
