Do you (anyone) happen to know of 2025 commitments?
They are not any.
Seven players are currently on the roster for the 2025/26 season, including Poole a 5.6 point guard via the portal/Purdue. This team which really wasn't very good this past year, has ben decimated by departures. The top 4 and perhaps top 5 ( Stephens is a ? mark on returning ) are gone. No high school commitments from the class of 2025 exist. When is this staff going to get some real talent? If it's through the portal, they better get busy. Right now this program is not in a good place. And we all probably know why.

Up to 9 players now as Nicole Stephens has confirmed she will return. Hopefully they will be able to sign a couple of really skilled wings that can score and defend vs. big time completion.
Not a big scorer, but she can rebound and play defense. "Fatima Ibrahim is 1-of-1! She makes history as the program’s first DPOY. During @thesummitleague play she recorded 40 blocks and 112 rebounds."
6'0 Guard/ Forward Pitt transfer Senior
Actually, she was with Houston the last two years after transferring from Pitt, but didn’t play last season due to a knee injury. Averaged almost nine points as a junior. Had some big double-digit games for both Pitt and Houston. If she’s healthy, this is a good commit.
Stephens was our best ball handler. Now I admit the bar was exceptionally low, but if we had to bring someone back I would have been okay with her as a transition piece as we elevate talent. She missed a few games due to injury but she had a +1.0 A/TO ratio which on this team was nearly impossible. She can help us with more talent around her.
Word is Stephens is returning.
It would be great if we could grab her (I know it's a long shot.) We were in her top 10 that are listed in the post.
I don't seem to be able to post any links today. Anyway, Bryn Martin, Miss Ohio Basketball finalist from Springboro Ohio has decommitted from Washington ST. We were a finalist along with Ohio ST, Clemson, Kentucky . IL, WVU, Louisville, VaTech, Miami (FL)
It certainly would be great. They lost 6 players, and added 3 via the portal for a total of 11 players during this off-season. No high schoolers were added for 25/26. They really need an elite player or two to get the program back to the pre Tamika era.
