BEVERLY HILLS (MI) –- Let there be links, I command it!

— It’s kinda hard to pick out a favorite piece on UD’s upset of #11 Louisville, so you choose:

WH from the A-10 MB’s updated “Ranking of the Teams” in the A-10 with our boys at #3 with a bullet, as we used to say in the radio biz:

Hell, even the Columbus Dispatch and the Cincinnati Enquirer, who cover UD hoops about as often as the State of Ohio votes Democratic gave the Flyers some love.

— Ever wonder what Norman Plummer has been up to? The Elder Swampette provides the linky goodness update:

— In the interest of equal time, here’s what Chris Alvarez is doing:

— And here I thought that a “Nutty Buddy” was an ice cream concoction:

In Jim Bouton’s landmark tell-all book “Ball Four” he and his Seattle Pilots teammates referred to a direct hit to the cup as a “ding dong.”

— So I wonder what prompted BG to go from the Pat Riley-esque slicked back hairstyle pictured here:

To the more natural, semi-JFK look going on here:

My guess is that BG’s wife Yvette intervened.

What’s funny is that I personally did the exact opposite, do-wise, when I was BG’s age: I had worn my hair down all of my adult life and then switched to combing it straight back when I hit 39. I’ve been wearing it that way ever since and it makes me look even more like Jay Leno than before.

That’s it “From the Swamp.”
