— Speaking of James Cripe, who was the last Flyer recruit to hail from Loveland, OH? Answer: Jim Testerman back in 1969, although he played for Kings HS, not Loveland.

— Anybody else happen to see John Stovall’s response to RDriessen on the Prep Spotlight message board about Cripe? He said that Cripe had a great Spiece Tournament and that he keeps getting better and better…hmmmm!

It happened with Robert Hite — one site listed UC (which Robert never had in his final 5) and Iowa State (which wasn’t in his consideration set at all) and no mention of UD.
