WOMENS HOOPS…
…Bradley University took one away and gave one back to Jaci Clark’s womens basketball program, as former Brave standout Krisha Green joins Clark’s staff as a replacement for former Assistant Coach Tasha McDowell, who left Dayton earlier in the month to take the same position at Bradley. Green played her prep basketball at Westerville North HS in suburban Columbus and was recruited by Flyer Head Coach Jaci Clark when Clark was pacing the sidelines at Bowling Green. Green graduated from Bradley in 1997 after starting two seasons and attaining the school record in blocked shots
…Jaci Clark’s staff has nabbed a commitment for the 2001-02 hoops season. Angela Cape, a 6-2 center who plays for Howland HS (Div-I) in Warren, OH, has chosen to play her college ball at the University of Dayton. Howland HS had a disappointing season a year ago, finishing just 10-12 overall, but Cape played well enough to find a spot on the All-County and All Northeastern Ohio roster in her junior season. Cape, who averaged 21ppg, has put up 38pts and nabbed 27rbs in a single contest.
