BEVERLY HILLS (MI) — While Archie and the Flyers have some Spiders to stomp Saturday afternoon and rumors swirl about UD’s future conference affiliation, the biggest deal in Dayton, Ohio this weekend takes place on Sunday. That’s when Jim Jabir and the (Don’t Call Us ‘Lady’) Flyers take on Saint Joseph’s in a nationally televised contest on ESPN2 at 2:00 PM.

Jabir’s charges are currently ranked #12 in the nation in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Poll and are starting to garner some much-earned national praise:

Here’s the deal, folks:

Sunday’s home finale will be a “White-Out” and all Flyer fans who show up wearing white will be admitted for $1.

You read that right, one dollar.

Heck you can’t even buy a candy bar for a buck anymore and the Flyers are gonna give you 40 minutes of exciting hoops and a chance to be on national TV, all for one hundred pennies.

UD Arena is legendary for the intense, sell-out crowds that consistently come out to support the men’s squad. Let’s show ESPN, the rest of the country and our old and new conference brethren what the “Dayton Decibel Distaff Dungeon” is all about.

We owe it to ‘em.

That’s it “From the Swamp.”
