This is the second in the series about the five new players added to the University of Dayton men’s basketball roster for the 2024-25 campaign. Next up is Jacob Conner, a 6’10” junior transfer from Marshall, by way of Kettering Archbishop Alter HS, who committed to the program on April 27th.
Here is what we know about Jacob Conner:
Jablo had a nice writeup in The DDN on Jacob:

Booting up the wayback machine, this is a rather optimistic piece from the Miami Valley Hoop Vault back in 2020 entitled “Did Jacob Conner prove he’s the best in Dayton’s 2022 class?”:
Considering Conner did get a call from Virginia after a strong AAU performance as a rising junior, maybe the article wasn’t so optimistic after all?
Jacob looked just a little bit different back then, no?
