BEVERLY HILLS (MI) — WOTS is not just a radio station in Kissimmee, FL. As most of you are well aware it’s also an acronym for “word on the street.” Start talkin’ street:

— The name heard most on Edwin Moses Boulevard these days is that of 2008 Illinois Mr. Basketball Kevin Dillard, late of the SIU Salukis. Dillard is a kid that BG recruited pretty heavily out of HS. He was waiting on offers from the Big Boys and when those didn’t materialize, BG and UD had moved on and he ended up in Carbondale. I’ve always relied on ChicagoHoops.com for my Windy City intel. Here is a list of every thread that mentions KD on their MB:

http://forums.chicagohoops.com/search.php?keywords=Kevin+Dillard&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

As with any MB, you have to take what posters have to say about the kid with a large measure of sodium chloride. Dillard would have to sit out a season and will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

— I don’t subscribe to Scout.com, but check out the preview of this article from them about Kevin Dillard:

Seriously, who talks or writes like that? The author obviously had his well-worn thesaurus open when he meticulously crafted that piece.
