NKU game
Looks like no Freeman or Kozlova for pre-game warmup. Flyers dressing only 7 tonight.
Coach Meek joked during season ticket holder Chalk Talk she might try to sub in at some point 😂

Enjoying the Flyers effort in this game. And with Perry on the bench with 4 fouls, and Perez with 3, they are down to 6 in uniform. And the only sub is the little used Monyek, who reminds me of Chris Szabo (who is broadcasting the game.) Gut check time, and these girls seem to have guts.

Flyers up 65-64 2:03 left. On a 6-0 run. Can they close it out? Anything left in the tank?

Tough loss, but nothing to hang your heads over. Good effort. Bohannan is turning into a star. (26 points) Perry has improved a lot over last year. Just get everyone healthy. Imagine if this team still had Cook and Magassa.

Ball security. Just too many TOs in crunch time in reg and OT.
Very competitive game but it was quite a low level of basketball. Both teams were missing key players. Against anyone else tonight either team gets throttled.
UD has had 2nd half leads in all but the Providence game. With so little game experience out there, we don't have the poise yet to finish teams off. Hopefully that will develop (soon). You put yourself in tough spots when you continue to have 20+ TOs. This was not an up and down game in the high 70s or low 80s.

The 50 minutes played by Destiny Bohanon is the most by a Flyer since Lauren Cannatelli played 51 minutes in a triple-overtime loss to Saint Louis in January of 2019.
Edit: To add to this, since the 2005-06 season, this is only the third time a player has had 50 minutes or more. Samantha McKay played 50 minutes in a victory over St Johns in March 2013.

Considering they had 6 turnovers in the first quarter to finish with 19 I believe not bad though - just look at the line 16-18 for NKU and Dayton missed too many - it boils down to that. They are a fun team and gritty and thank goodness the conference is down way down so that should keep the games competitive. As for next week in the Bahamas, not so competitive.

Figgie when was the last time we lost four games in a row? Have we ever started 0-4? Jabirs first season?
